Stone Ridge
The Chamber House was built by Thomas Chambers circa 1790. By 1812 he operated a store attached to the house through an extension, burnt in the 1930s. A second room was added to the principal as well as a cellar with a summer kitchen (a pantry closet and original ironwork survives). Current owners have lovingly uncovered and restored the Dutch features in this house. A 19th century three-bay English barn, with board and batten siding, and a corn crib is in the process of being restored.
